These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of KiVi — the fun, safe short-form video app made for kids, operated by KiVi App, India.

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You must be the parent or legal guardian of any child using the app
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information
• One account may have up to 5 child profiles

2. Use of the Service

You May ✅

• Create child profiles and manage parental controls
• Stream videos available on the platform
• Set screen time limits and content filters for your child
• View activity reports for your child's usage

You May NOT ❌

• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to bypass parental controls or age restrictions
• Use the service for any commercial purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
• Use automated tools to access or scrape content

3. Content & Intellectual Property

All content on KiVi — videos, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to KiVi App.

• Content is for personal, non-commercial use only
• You may not download, copy, or redistribute any content
• KiVi curates age-appropriate content but parental supervision is encouraged
• We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove content at any time

4. Parental Responsibilities

As the parent or guardian, you are responsible for:

• Supervising your child's use of the app
• Setting appropriate screen time limits and content filters
• Keeping your parental PIN confidential
• Ensuring your child uses the app in a safe environment
• Reviewing your child's watch history regularly

5. Privacy

Your use of KiVi is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms. By using KiVi, you consent to data collection and use as described there.

6. Subscription & Payments

KiVi currently offers a free tier with content available to all users. Premium features may be introduced in the future.

• Free tier: Access to the full content library
• All payments, if applicable, will be processed through Google Play billing
• Refund requests will follow Google Play's refund policy

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the last 12 months
• We are not responsible for third-party content linked from the app

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour
• Attempt to circumvent security measures

You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. All your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

We encourage resolving disputes amicably by contacting us first at legal@kiviapp.co.in.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
