- Google account name and email address (via Google Sign-In)
- Profile photo from Google account (optional)
- Parental PIN (stored securely, never in plain text)
Child Profile Information
- Child's first name (entered by parent)
- Age group selection (3–5, 6–8, or 9–10 years)
- Avatar / emoji selection
- Content preferences set by parent
Usage Data
- Videos watched and duration
- Videos liked / favourited
- Screen time usage per session
- App navigation patterns (anonymous)
Device Information
- Device type and operating system version
- App version
- General location (country / region only — not precise GPS)

3. Children's Privacy
KiVi is designed for children under the supervision of a parent or guardian. We comply with India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable children's privacy laws.
- All child profiles are created and managed by parents/guardians
- We do not allow children to create accounts independently
- We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children
- Parents can view, edit, or delete their child's profile at any time
- We do not display behavioural advertising to children

Your data is stored securely using:
- Google Firebase / Firestore — user accounts and app data (Mumbai, India)
- Google Cloud Run — our API servers (Mumbai, India)
- Cloudflare — video content delivery and DDoS protection

5. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers — Google Firebase, Cloudflare (for app operation only)
- Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect safety
- Business transfers — in the event of a merger (users will be notified)

6. Parental Rights & Controls
- ✅ View all child profiles and activity reports in the app
- ✅ Edit or delete any child profile
- ✅ Set screen time limits and content category filters
- ✅ Request deletion of all account data by contacting us
- ✅ Withdraw consent at any time by deleting the account

7. Data Retention
- Account data is retained as long as your account is active
- Watch history is retained for up to 90 days
- Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days
- Anonymised analytics may be retained for up to 2 years
